I bought the oven about three months ago and I have been using it for about one and a half months now. Over all it seems to be working really well. I had to convert the over to propane from natural gas and LG covered the cost for the conversion kit which was great The smart features on it dont seem to be working for me at the moment but I dont mind as I dont really plan on using them anyway. The oven seems very durable which was a big sticking point for me when I was looking to buy one. I like how I have the option to use gas or electric in the oven.

We love this dual fuel range The stove heats up quickly and the double oven I can bake items even more quickly with the 2 independent stoves. One thing we have found though the ovens do not get as hot as previous ovens. There is a way to adjust the temperature but we havent done that yet. I do like the convection it heats evenly and quickly. Overall this is a solid appliance and would highly recommend

$3600 gas range that has to lit with lighter/match

UltraHeat Burner did not work upon delivery no ignition. LG subcontracts repairs to Sears bankrupt for good reason. Valve replaced 5/23 does not work. Ignitor replaced 6/13 does not work. Subsequent repair appointments for 6/27 and 7/18 were no shows by Sears so left hanging for 8 to 5 service interval windows for those dates. Communication via virtual assistants has not worked with Sears. Nada from LG. Range performance 4 out of 5 burners working sucks. Range disappointing. Customer service totally sucks

LG must provide Safety Covers for Gas Ranges

While your customer service people were helpful LG has disappointed us greatly. We have infants at home and need to put caps on the dials for our gas range. LG does not provide them for our units unique shape nor are any universal or generic styles available to fit the dials specific design. I urge LG to anticipate design and make available appropriate products to protect children and their families around gas ranges.

Love This Oven - But has a couple of Issues

After using this range a couple of years I offer this review. Overall I really like this range and would buy it again. However there was a learning curve upfront due to the fact that the knobs and panel buttons have more than one function. Example there is one oven knob that operates both ovens and also the oven lights. I have gotten use to this. Also I have had to get use to the speed at which the top oven cooks especially with the inferred cooking element. I use the timer to help me remember to check on food in the oven. One issue that I have is that the cooking grates over the gas burners on top of the range are slightly uneven making it difficult to use a very small amount of cooking oil as it all runs to one side of the pan. I have remedied this by buying a pkg of small flexible magnets at the craft store to even out the grate. I find the placement of the oven light an issue. It is located on the back panel - left side in the top oven as well as the bottom oven. The light is not very useful. You need to actually open the door and pull the food out to check the cooking status.

Terrible Glass Cooktop 3/4/2024

After a couple of years the glass cooktop glass turns black under the glass. Good luck it getting it replaced or serviced. Customer service and repair are awful. Youll be transferred multiple time hung-up on put on hold for endless hours and more. At the end of the day youll be charged hundreds of dollars never get serviced or a repair will never be completed. Just terrible.

Lg Signature is the real deal

My wife and I have been coveting an LG Signature Dual-Oven range for a few years since my wife loves baking when we finally decided to go for it. Delivery and installation went smooth and easy and the new range instantly became the centerpiece of our already lovely kitchen. This LG Signature is sheer elegance and an absolute marvel. The gorgeous design is made significantly better by the awesome performance. The range flames are instant and huge the convection oven is a bakers dream and the temperature distribution in the upper oven is evidenced by even browning throughout. We truly love this thing and could not have asked for a better product. Thank you LG for making our life good. And thank you Home Depot.

No one know how to repair the oven.

I purchased this oven in May 2021 for $3599. The upper oven no longer works. I have had three technicians come to repair it. No one knows how to repair it. The last technician said that it MIGHT be the main control board and power board which would cost over $650 but that may NOT resolve the issue. He continued and said it could easily cost over $1000. Bought almost 18 months ago. Needed to contact LG for misting or failed parts which were provided quickly. Gas cook top and both ovens have met expectations. Only needed to replace both oven light bulbs. Only negative is the high cost of a two year or three year extended warranty.

This is such a poorly designed oven. The top oven has not worked properly since we got it in 2019. I purchased it at Costco with an extended warranty Allstate/Squaretrade and it has been impossible to get issues addressed. Each time I call there is another piece of info needed - they want the original receipt for heavens sake LG products other than TVs are very poorly and cheaply made I have had horrible experiences with this stove as well as refrigerators - I will NOT have an LG in my home again.

Great oven features buit dead after 3.5 years

This was a great oven when it worked. We purchased this oven in 2019 during a remodel and for about a year it worked great and we were very happy with it. After a year the bottom oven stopped working. In fact when you started both ovens the bottom oven would stop heating up and turn off and also turn off the top oven. It was under warranty so we called LG and they sent out a technician to repair it. The technician had never worked on an oven like this and didnt have any idea how to fixe it other than to start replacing control boards. When the new control board arrived and the technician had the oven opened up hereached in and jiggled the plugs on the main control board and it suddenly started working. So he gave us the new ctl board as a spare and closed it back up. It would go out occasionally and I would open it up and jiggle the connector and it would start working again. In December of 2023 after the warranty ran out we were preparing to entertain over 100 guests at our house using all burners and both ovens the front panel went dark and both ovens stopped working. The burners still work if we manually light them but nothing electircal works. We had several technicians come out. They verified the oven was getting power but no idea what was wrong. The only option is to just start replacing control boards. They installed the spare main board but still nothing. There are several other boards each several hundred dollars each that they started ordering. Then it turns out that all of these boards are backordered and we have to go without an oven just to wait for them. In searching other reviews we found a lot of people that had the same expereience with about the same 3 to 4 years of use and then the whole electrical goes out. We have not seen a single case where they were able to get it going again.

Overall good some room for improvement

I love the dual fuel option- I love cooking with gas and even baking. I love the double oven. I find that I wish there were two big burners or even three. I do not use the center burner very often and wouldnt buy this feature again. The stovetop is easy to clean. I did have any issue when the stove was three years old of it losing power during a self clean. After repair the same thing happened two more times at high temps. A different repair was performed and I havent had any trouble since. I do wish the warranty was longer.

Not Happy with my LG Range

Bought this unit 11/01/2019. Worked great until 10/30/2023. No power no display. Breakers are not tripped. Have an extended warranty on it. The technicians were out twice four different parts ordered. The last part was not for my model number. The extended warranty people have decided not to fix my range. Im less than 10 days from Thanksgiving and I have a boat anchor in my kitchenrange LG dont you make replacement parts for your products.

I would NEVER RECOMMEND LG SIGNATURE. Our Signature Oven/Range Unit has been broken since May. We reported it they sent a tech out 2 months later. The tech made it to worse - the oven will not turn on the range top now keeps trying to ignite and doesnt stop. Their claims department manager Alexandra sent us a link to fill out for a replacement we are now approaching 6 months. After we have to sign off that we will not resale the unit we must cut the serial tag off the unit so no additional claims can be made and we must agree not to say anything bad about LG Signature she now tells us they are not replacing/repairing it because she doesnt like the receipt from our vendor which was supplied to them via email 4 different occasions via email. Our unit has been pulled away from wall for months. We havent been able to cook at home for months. Weve spent thousands literally eating out...just waiting for them to actually take care of us.

I had admired the features of this LG dual fuel range that a friend had purchased. Our range delivered less than a month ago had 3 off the 5 control knobs for the gas to that were very difficult to turn. A technician was sent to correct the problem. He stated that he had not seen a problem like this before and spent approximately an hour repairing it. Now within 3 weeks one of the knob controls cannot be turned. I am very disappointed in this range and plan to contact Costco to return it.

Love cooking with Gas

I love having a gas range again. Nothing compares to cooking with gas. Took me a little bit to figure out the duel ovens but they seem to be very accurate at the cooking times and temp the ovens provide. I like that I dont have to heat a big oven to cook one dish. The broiler also works well. Not sure how big of a turkey will fit into the upper oven. I am happy that I purchased this duel fuel gas range.

So Hard to Use the Ovens

I love the dual fuel stove and oven. I love the idea of multiple features in the ovens but we havent tried them all yet. Our first attempts to broil something only resulted in a cold oven. Turning it on required a You Tube tutorial and even then ours did not work so easily. We are folks with above average intelligence and it took a while to realize that one knob operates settings on both the upper and lower ovens and there is no OFF setting. There is also only one button for START for both ovens. When trying to set the temperature if we dont do it fast enough the oven turns off and you have to reset the oven function to get it back on. Same with the timer which we havent mastered yet. As for the Clock setting...four people couldnt set it so we called the technician. Even he had trouble and admitted its working but its hard. He gave up trying to get it to switch from military time to am/pm time. Maybe its a matter of practice. Certainly it requires patience. To use the bottom oven you have to get very low to the floor. Dont do it with a bad back Im used to built-in ovens so this is a big adjustment for me. Im really hoping the Thanksgiving turkey fits Right now my oven intimidates me and this is not a good relationship.

Unfortunate design flaw

I purchased this range in August of 2022 based on the dual fuel and double oven features. This range is jam packed with many great features but has a major design flaw that I am currently working through with LG. The gliding rack does not sit level. A gliding rack is essential for a double oven since the oven cavities are much smaller thus reaching into a hot oven is a safety concern. The gliding rack assists with removing of food from the ovens the upper smaller oven since it is small and the lower oven since lifting a heavy dish would place a strain on your back and arms. Since the gliding rack is not level front to back - back in lower than front by 1/2 cakes come out uneven - high on one side/low on the other in addition liquid in a roasting pan flows to the back on the pan making the cooking uneven. I have receive two replacement gliding racks and they have the same design flaw - the racks are not level. The problem with the LG gliding rack makes the ovens unusable. The gas cooktop is great which makes this review very unfortunate due to the problem with the gliding rack. The standard non-gliding racks are level but dont provide the needed assistance that the gliding rack provides. I have taken the time to go to a big box store and inspect competitors gliding racks and all of the gliding racks tested were completely level. The LG gliding rack at the big box store was not level. I spent top dollar purchasing LGs top of the line range and certainly expect a gliding rack that is level

The stove has been great. The gas burners and double stove has been great. However I was cleaning the top oven and it completely shut down. One of the sensors went. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty since my LG warranty was up. Thing was I had cleaned the oven many times before. Bottom line from the repairman dont use the cleaning feature. Yipes one of the reasons I bought the appliance.

Dual fuel was received 10/21. Dec 2022 unit died. Had 2 certified technicians replaced parts. Not able to find the problem. Lg tech is no help do not have schematics for unit. Lg technicians came out 2x no idea why this happened or how to repair. Multiple calls to LG lip service but no assistance. 14 months is a very short lifespan for a top of the line range. Very expensive experience very disappointed in LG

Weve only had the dual fuel double oven range for about a week but so far we were extremely pleased. It feels very solid the burners and controls have a sure feel and we are starting to experiment with the double oven arrangement. So far so good. The smaller upper oven seems perfect for pizza and a single sheet of cookies. Were very impressed with the arrangement of burners and the griddle.

We bought this new LG dual oven gas range just before the Christmas holiday to replace a similar configured higher priced dual range that had failed after only two years with no availability of replacement parts. The new LG dual range oven works great. It is a much better oven than the oven it replaced with better temperature control and more options. I wish we had bought this LG dual oven to start with.
