Like several reviews here I had same awful noisy ice maker sound, like a chainsaw, extremely loud. I bought thru a small appliance company in Dripping Springs- Wilson Appliance. They had an excellent tech diagnose and he said replacing valve and ice maker would correct. He completed repair today and sounds so much better. This refrigerator is well laid out, holds a bunch for small family"

We love our new fridge! We initially bought it since it was the only model we could find that would fit in a space with a max height of 69 inches for a he 36 inch width fridges. It is a beautiful fridge and we love the counter depth feature too. Well configured, quiet, and functioning well.

My old frig stopped working, and I looked at many refrigerators before choosing my Whirlpool. I love in a condo and it had to fit under a cupboard, and luckily the size was perfect. It is very spacious inside and has a clean look inside and out.

We bought this refrigerator about a month ago and as soon as we plugged it in we realized we made a mistake...way too much compressor noise! We had hoped it would eventually be somewhat quieter, but NO if anything it is worse!! Will never buy a Whirlpool refrigerator again. Shame on Lowe's store for selling such a bum fridge!

I am 52 years old, and had NEVER picked out my own appliances. I always had hand-me-downs or appliances that came with the house. I researched like crazy before making this purchase, and couldn't be happier. This unit is amazing! Just enough bells and whistles.the stainless steel is beautiful and the "no fingerprints" is BONUS! I was missing 2 shelves from the unit, but I called Whirlpool and easy peasy, shelves arrived a few days later at no cost!! The customer service was awesome! I tell all my friends, Whirlpool is the way to go!

I bought this refrigerator for our new house 8 months ago but have NOT YET RECEIVED one that isn't defective. I'm beside myself with the shocking change in the lack of quality control come from Whirlpool (my go to company all these years for appliances). Why on earth I can't get a refrigerator delivered to me after paying for it, after 7 attempt and wasting my time is absoluting beyond me.what's worse is the fact that I shopped quite some time before my house was finished to come up with what we purchased. being that the builder left such a tight space, we were limtied to begin with. I was told however by a Whirlpool customer service employee to get a refund from my store and go somewhere else. But I can't thank my salesman enough for his help in this and hanging in there to help me figure this rediculous situation out, so no i'd rather stick with my store and find out what quality control issues can be resolved with Whirlpool before I look into the decision of terrible Samsung being my choices now. This counter depth contemporary CHIZ is nice looking and love the fingerprint resistant type stainless, not to forget the great measured fill feature as well... but gosh fire the first graders building them and send me one that looks like the pictures please. I gave this 1 star because I had to. And that is also towards the manufacturing quality mostly.

I have had this unit for approx. 2 months. Sleek design, low profile, counter depth, which I needed for my older home, had to customize upper cabinet. You will need to order 2 extra glass shelves for the freezer $$$ and ice maker is very noisy, so shut it off when you're not using it.

This fridge looks nice and works well. My only complaint is that the paddles to push for ice and water are hard to use if you do not push them in the perfect spot. However, it still works.
Just beware, the freezer space is limited, don't try to fit a large frozen pizza in it!

Love this refrigerator..it fits perfectly in our kitchen that has a narrow walk space between the cabinets and the island. I also have built in overhead cabinets and this refrigerator slipped right into place. Love the see throygh shelves - I do wish they were able to be moved but they are in good positions. The refrigerator space is excellent but freezer space is tight.

I like everything about this refrigerator - appearance and performance - except that there are not enough freezer shelves! With space lost to the icemaker in the door and one-third of a shelf taken up by a light Whirlpool should have provided 5 shelves instead of 3.
