We love the room in our upright freezer. We also like the ease of finding things inside. The only problem we have had is opening it. It sometimes is almost impossible. We learned that this is normal due to a vacuum created inside which dissipates in a few minutes. Overall we are enjoying our freezer.

I like my new freezer mainly because it is frost free. I have had a Frigidaire upright freezer for over 20 years and it was still going strong, but it was not frost free. I liked the size of it better than the new one. It was shorter and much deeper. The new one is taller and has one more shelf than the old one, but it is very shallow compared to the old one. Also the compartments on the door are not as deep as the old one. Old one seems to be much heavier and better built and I would have just kept it if it was frost free, but I didn't want to defrost it any more. I'm sure I will get used to the new one in time, but it doesn't hold near as much as the old one.

We are so very pleased with the design and functionality of our new freezer which replaced our 26 year old freezer. It has a light so you can actually SEE in the freezer; there is an exterior power light that illuminates the floor to indicate the freezer is running. The freezer stands higher than our older model because the shelves are more shallow. We find that a positive feature because it is easier to actually find what we are looking for! We are very pleased with our new freezer.

We haven™™t had a problem with since it was delivered. It keeps all foods frozen, even in the garage on a 100 degree day. The light is perfect to see everything that is in it. The shelves are arranged to enable to to store all different sizes and shapes of food.

I absolutely love the frigidaire freezers. I have had 4 in total and have not had any issues with any of them. My 2nd one died of old age it lasted 25 years in the garage. Which says a lot since we have very hot and humid summers and was not frost free. The 3rd one I gave to my daughter because I wasn™™t able to take it with me when I moved and the 4th one I just purchased it was advertised garage ready. I am. Very sure this one will also perform amazingly well. Frigidaire is the only brand for me.
