So far, so good. This is a replacement for the one we bought 2 years ago that was damaged in renovating the kitchen. Contractor bought us this one as ours was discontinued. We haven't used it much yet but it's great.

Perfect cooktop

In use it is a perfect cooktop. It did randomly uproar itself after 5 months and had to be replaced. GE took care of that but the service and replacement communication was VERY DIFFICULT to contact and confirm arrival. The guys that came to the house were great.

Does not fit well in the old cutout. Do you make a metal frame to accommodate the sizes of old cutouts? The glass is sagging and no one can fix it. Badly installed by Lowe's.

I never had an electric stove- always had a gas stove and loved them™¦ however, after moving to a new city, in a new state, and buying an amazing home that had a brand new countertop Cafe electric stovetop in black- I have to say that cooking is a lot easier and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined it to be. That being said- 4/5 stars for the EDGE of the glass ceramic cooktop being CHIPPED!! What a bummer!! It should NOT be that easy to chop a countertop electric stove. It bothers me terribly each time I see it and im afraid it will just get worse?? How to remedy this? The stovetop is literally BRAND NEW!:(

Controls are easy to use and it heats up quickly. However, we had an electrical outage one week after the cook top was installed, and the power board and relay board had to be replaced. There's no protection between a power surge and these boards, so that's an area for improvement.

I got this Cafe™™ cooktop to upgrade/update my old one in our kitchen remodel. I think the cooktop is so nice and chic, I get a little crazy when something drips on it and am constantly going behind my husband and kids making sure they are cleaning it properly after use. Ok, I may be a little ocd about my new cooktop but it™™s so pretty I want it to stay sparkly and shiny. Anyway, this cooktop with the 5 burners is an absolute must in our house. I have 3 grandchildren and I am making multiple dishes on the daily for these picky eaters so the extra burner helps out immensely. The burners seem to heat up and distribute heat very very well. This cooktop has some cool features that you won™™t find on most. One that I absolutely LOVE is that this cooktop is KNOB-LESS. The kids are insane about touching and playing and twisting knobs so this is an awesome feature. The other is that you can set an exact temperature to your burner!! GENIUS! I fry a lot of shrimp and fish, so to have my oil at a particular temperature on my stovetop, AWESOME!! I™™ve used the warmer/melting burners and that™™s a cool thing to have. There are a few features that I haven™™t gotten to use yet like the Wi-Fi smart home as I™™m not that techy but my kids will show me! I™™ll get to the others soon as I™™ve only had it installed about 3 weeks ago. Let me not forgot about installation- it went in with ease, no problems. My husband is pretty handy though. Overall this is a winner!

This stove top is absolutely exquisite! We stalled this in an add on for our guest kitchen area. We love that it heats the cookware evenly. The dials are so amazing. It™™s all touch to increase/ decrease the heat temperature.

This is a great product this cooktop is amazing it™™s the perfect way to go as far as cooking it™™s not bulky like a regular stove it™™s sleek and designed really well. It has 19 different heat settings and you can change them easily by sliding your finger it™™s so cool and it™™s got a lock so things don™™t get turned on or up or down accidentally which is great. You can set the exact temperature when you cook and the food turns out amazing I love it. You can cook fast or slow and everything turns out so good. It™™s easy to clean and it™™s just amazing all around it™™s the future of cooking I would definitely recommend.
